My grandkids loved these! My oldest is very much into different animals, insects, dinos etc. He has a great memory for detail and these were so much fun to read with him as he really got into the battles and loved the fun facts and details that were included. His younger brothers, who basically love whatever he does, were all in too, even though these were a bit advanced for them, I skipped some of the details related to how the animals attack each other, but they loved the battle theme and would proclaim the loser was "out of here." Fun and educational. My daughter told me after I left, this was all the boys could talk about. That's all I needed to hear.
