A great book, top quality and really well made.A fantastic collectors item, detailing everything about the making of the film.

With the Adventures of Cliff Booth soon to hit theaters, now seems like a good time to visit what I would argue is Tarantino's greatest film of the 21st Century, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Alas, this enormous tome offers little in the way of critical analysis or insight into the film. Instead, it forms a kind of hagiography of Tarantino and his leading producers, writers, technicians and actors as they put the film together from deal-making to production. It's a bit like watching sausage being made, as Tarantino comes across as more of a wheeler-dealer than an artist. Like the magic suitcase in Pulp Fiction, the script that Tarantino forges out of assorted ideas seems like something magical that simply sprang forth on its own. There is precious little insight to be had here into what makes Tarantino a genius and one of a handful of the greatest filmmakers of his time. It's as if all his genius goes up on the screen and the actual man is just taking meetings while sunning himself by the shallow end of his pool. You won't come away with any greater love for the man but you will be left with an abiding sense of wonder over this great film. Meanwhile, the book's strength is images. The large, thick volume is printed on very heavy, quality paper and amptly illustrated with film stills and production photographs, all gorgeously reproduced and many quite stunning. If, like me, you just want a top-quality memento of a great work, a film that remains a joy to watch and return to, you'll want to own this unique book. And it will whet your appetite for more Cliff Booth.

This is a high quality book. I was not expecting the quality of what I received. It's heavy and would be a great book for a coffee table or someone who is a major fan of Tarantino, the movie, or cast. I love how much there is to explore in this book and to see the photos and writing.I sat it on my coffee table. While guests are waiting or if we're just hanging out, I've had people, including those who aren't fans look through the book and enjoy the content. It really has so much!I would 100% get this book again. It's a wealth of information and has been a fun read and look through.

Super quality book full of detailed information as to the making of the film 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

My husband is a movie nut and this book is been on his wish list for quite some time. I purchased for his 70th bday and he loooooves it. It was much bigger than I imagined but it is packed with so much information and pictures. It is sure to bring hours of pleasurable reading.
