Wonderful story, well written for all ages

I ordered these books for my grandson and so I could talk to him about the series I picked up a copy of the first book. These are extremely well written and I was quickly hooked! The characters human and dragon are engaging and delightful! This author does an excellent job of telling a believable story and the content is appropriate for all ages . I am now on book 3 and had not intended to read the entire series! This set is worth every penny I highly recommend.

His Majesties Dragons

I loved this series. All of the different dragons and the authors ability to make you love them all even if they arent on the side you may be cheering for. Lol. So good. No smut, no foul language, just beautifully written characters. Temeraire is a doll!

Same book, wrong release version (used)

Bought these used and ended up getting the original version and not the newer 2020s release (which are the ones advertised at the time of review). While I'm sure they read the same/similar, I preferred the cleaner look of the newer release. If my son wasn't looking forward to reading them, I'd consider exchanging it.

Great Series, But Not For Young Readers

I bought this series for younger readers, and on a whole this would've been fine, but the author sprinkled some racy material here and there throughout it. Not a lot, but definitely too much for my intended audience. The rather loose morals were unexpected, and I was slightly put off with the way they talked about breeding the dragons, who are very much like people. The author has her right to write what she wishes, and aside from this it was a Thrilling and Engaging series.
