Absolutely love this series. The relationships between characters are believable. Plotting is always faultless. Can't wait for the next in the series but Mackintosh's stand alone thrillers are just as good. 5/5

4.5 🌟🥰I know this doesn't usually happen, but I liked this book much more than the first one! 😉 I started to like Ffion much more as well! She reminds me of Juliette Nichols, the main character in the Silo series.I found this plot far more interesting than Lloyd's murder. It was very funny at times, and I liked that there were a lot of familiar characters from the previous book! And what about the ending? Oh God! 😍I can't wait to start the third book! 😜

A very good read

I love DC Morgan and The Last Party totally knocked my socks off. The premise of A Game of Lies is thrilling--a reality TV show where you THINK you signed up to brave the elements, however, it's really about your greatest secrets being revealed if you're unable to survive your greatest fears. Dark, twisted, and totally unethical. When someone goes missing during the first days of filming, a manhunt ensues. When death soon follows, even though the show has gone completely viral, it becomes clear just what lengths people are willing to go to when they risk exposure.Much of this story was thrilling and entertaining, though admittedly, my interest ebbed and flowed. I did like the behind-the-scenes look at "reality" TV and how easy it is to distort the truth. However, the timeline isn't linear and there are a lot of storylines and characters to keep track of. This often made the narrative confusing for me and didn't help me maintain interest.Overall, this was a good read but it never fully grabbed me.

This s a great read from a brilliant author, as far as I know there are not 3 in this series but all are equally as addictive!! I bought other peoples houses on an offer and sold a covered a great new author!
