The media could not be loaded.

Reading how Ainz gets tangled in so many troubles while maintaining a facade of being an actual ruler makes me laugh every time.And in this ocation Ainz trying to be an adventurer while exploring the new world along side Nabe will keep you entertained, i assure you that.It is nice finally being able to buy the phisical LN and support the Autor.

Not Much Different from the Anime

Fun read. Fantasy with D&D style combat and spell casting. Familiar to players of D&D table top, Baldur's Gate, Neverwinters Night. Spoilers. Main character Ainz Oool Gown, moonlighting as the adventurer Momon, fights against Ogres, the monstrous Wise King of the Forest, an undead army, and against the psychopathic elite former Black Scripture killer Clementine. He is backed up by the beautiful Pleides battle maid Narberal Gamma under her adventurer name of Nabe. Ainz/Momon is OP in this volume and was never really in serious danger.

Poorly packaged

Great book but packaging was lacking and could have been better

A Really Good Volume! However…

“His voice reminded the guards what they were supposed to be doing, and they began plunging their spears into the throng of undead below. There were so many they couldn’t even see the ground. They could stab at random and still skewer one. Thrust, wind up, thrust again.” I wonder why, knowing medieval history, the guards didn’t have oil up on the towers to the graveyard so it could be poured over the undead and set alight. Inconsistencies like these detracted from the story somewhat when you call in to question why the author belittled the intelligence of the story’s characters. Sure, it’s not in the plot, but c’mon…give me a break.
