Extraordinary, beautiful recreations of ancient life, including human ancestors

A wonderful, beautifully produced review of an artist I have admired since I first saw his murals in the National Museum of Natural History in Washington DC some 60 years ago. I especially liked the section of his illustrations of human ancestors, including Ardipithecus. I also loved the sketches of gorillas he made for Dian Fossey. I plan to buy copies for my extended family for Christmas.
