I came to the book as an electron microscopist with only a rudimentary understanding of semiconductor technology. The book is dense with usable information written in a clear and to-the-point style. The information on semiconductor materials and structures will be genuinely useful as I spend more time examining these devices. This is the book I was looking for to teach me the concepts and vocabulary to get over that initial hurdle to work with these devices.

The structure of this book is clear and easy to follow. I am keeping it on the desk and referring to it time and then whenever I need.
