Perfect!

This is my first FPGA book. Although its code is mainly for SPARTAN 3 FPGA chip. I got a SPARTAN 6 based board (Nexys3 Spartan-6 FPGA Board from Digilent ). Most of the code from the book worked well on SPARTAN 6 chip ( with small modification ). It is a very good introductory book to FPGA.

Extensive book for more advanced HW-Engineers containing examples of UARTs, HID-periferials, memory- and video-controllers. Based on Xilinx Spartan 3 FPGAs and includes about 100 pages of PicoBlaze design. Very comprehensive and complete although the writing style is a bit dense to read. For such a big book (439 pages) the index of one (!) page is ridiculously small and thus not usable as a reference.

Great book. Very informative for beginner users of FPGAs. Knowledge of digital logic and some assembly language is of courae required. The only downside of this book is the quality of images related to Xilinx software but it is quite manageable. I'm using the text along with the Spartan 3E board by Digilent and haven't had any issues.

Cubre los temas desde cero, con ejemplos, es una buena base para fpga y vhdl. Aunque creo que es algo caro
