My 11 year old son adores this series.He has been obsessed with these books for a good while, and references the characters whenever we're on a hike and trying to be bear aware. Haha. The stories of friendship and adventure really capture his attention and leave him wanting to read more. Happy to have some stories that are more about sweet themes of friendship rather than intense warfare and fighting like some other books he's been into before these.

Nice manga style version of warrior cats. Loved it

The setting of these books takes place in the northern territories, with beautiful descriptions. It also shows us how environmental change is affecting bears as well as other animals, along with a hint of magic (shapeshifting bears!!). I love this series so much!!
